While you remain in the vehicle, you will be swabbed. This is done by inserting the swab into your nostril. The swab is rotated several times, removed gently and this process is repeated on the other side.

The lab performs a PCR test, which tests for active infections by detecting the presence of SARS-COV-2/COVID-19 virus. Currently we do not administer antibody tests, which indicate whether the patient has been infected in the past. The EVT Lab must follow the CDC and state guidelines, but future goals are to expand the access of screening to the general public and initiate a widespread testing protocol for the presence of antibodies.

Our average turnaround time for receiving results is 2-3 days. When your results are ready, we’ll email you a link to view them on our patient portal. In case you don’t have an email, the lab can contact you by phone to give you your results. Our website supports computer, tablet and most phones. Some iPhones experience usability issues which are currently being worked on. If your results do not display correctly on your phone, please try on a computer or tablet.
